RARE Vintage One Tree Hill by Michael Cuthbert – Print

This is a wonderful print of a scene, featuring One Tree Hill, when it still had its tree! Such an iconic Auckland attraction with hills in the foreground with sheep and lambs grazing in the grass. This art is so refreshing and tranquil, looking at it will transport you to Auckland back in the day! This art is framed with a green matt under glass in a cool wooden frame. Wow! Michael Cuthbert began pencil drawing at an early age of five years. Later he started painting in watercolour up until 1980. From that point, he began using watercolour in earnest, teaching himself the techniques of this medium. Later in his career he mastered the use of acrylics on board and canvas and has continued to use this medium up to the present time. He has exhibited in galleries in Hamilton, Auckland, Howick and the Blue Orange Gallery in Tuakau. Michael has won numerous awards at the Waihi and Franklin Arts Festivals. Two of these were supreme awards at the Franklin Arts Festival held in Pukekohe. Presently, Michael works from his home studio in Pukekawa.
