We have enjoyed using this wonderful dining table and chairs over the past 15 years but sadly it will not fit into our new home. It can seat 8 comfortably and 10 at a squeeze for family gatherings!

The table and chairs were made by Jack Chapman Taylor (James Walter Taylor's grandson), working out of the family workshop in Upper Hutt. All pieces show his clear mark and have hand carved spiral on legs. Overall, it is in good condition, sturdy with no loose joints. There are some marks on the tabletop, and this would respond well to a light tidy up. The chair seats are leather with brass studs (none missing). The leather shows some water marks, fading and light wear - this is mentioned for accuracy and does not affect their usefulness. There is no borer. The seat cushions are included.
