Description
Stunning pair of genuine 1920's theatre chairs.
They are fabulous and I absolutely love them. I don't want to part with them but I need to fund my wee dog's Carpus joint operation.
They are Cast Iron and moulded plywood. Beautifully made but due to their age have a few imperfections...small amounts of the plywood have been pulled of by I'm guessing theatre patron's garments catching on them. I was going to mend them but now that will sadly be up to someone else now. They have the seat numbers on them...104 and 3. When the seats are flipped up there are unique wire spaces where the cushions are stored. I paid $700 for them so to be fair to the gentleman that sold them to me that is the auction starting point amount.
They are very comfortable and a real talking point.
