Antique silver and mother-of-pearl cross pendant.

Form research, these crosses were manufactured in and around the early 1920s, typically made with mother-of-pearl and silver, with Christ on the cross on the front and Jerusalem etched on the back. With four silver caps on each side of the cross.

No markings for silver found, this could have possibly been on the original necklace. Has been tested as silver. Most probably sterling silver.

Weighs 1.8 grams Measures in length 3.1 cm Across 1.8 cm Width 4 mm

In good condition, on the left-hand side silver cap a small nick, this could have been an original fault, no chips or cracks to the mother-of-pearl. Small parts of the lettering on Jerusalem slightly faded, but minor.
