This pair of Pendants were hand made by Shirley Ogilvy Gearin, a Sydney jeweller who for decades sold at the Rocks Market. I bought Ned around 10 years ago. Shirley told me she was going to make a matching Nelly pendant and I organised her to post it to me. When Nelly arrived she was much smaller than Ned and I was disappointed. So that Nellie went back to Sydney and Shirley made the bespoke Nellie in the photos. Shirley makers mark is the gold flower - it's on all her pieces - sometimes set with a diamond or sapphire or ruby etc. Ned is 80 mm long including the bale, Nellie is 70 mm long. These are substantial pieces of sterling silver- their combined weight is 47.5 gms including the sterling silver Belcher chains. They are in as-new condition.
