Imported from Egypt this stunning lion and lioness are reputed to be over 150 years old at the very least. They have some damage from knocks over the years but are very solid and heavy. The sandstone lions are each encased in a wooden casing which measures 79cm depth by 43cm wide. The height from floor to top of lions heads are 80cm approximately. There are small wheels under the wooden casing. This stunning pair cost $2500 to buy some time ago and now can no longer fit in my next home.
