Almost 100 years is represented in the ages of these banknotes. There's a 1 yen from around c1889 or so, up to the 100 yen banknote that dates from 1953-1974.

Condition varies, obviously the older notes have a bit more wear & tear per the photos, but they're all complete.

Interesting that, like some older USA banknotes, that early 1 yen note is also backed by silver.
