These Silica Crystals are ideal for protecting items from high humidity conditions by absorbing moisture in the air. They are supplied in a sealed plastic bag and need to be placed in a suitable container or bag for use.

These are supplied in a dry state at under 20% RH and can be recharged after use by baking in an oven at 100 – 120 degrees C for 2 to 4 hours.
Each bag contains approx. 500cc volume (250 grams by dry weight) of high-quality Silica Crystals.
Blue Indicating Silica Beads have been mixed with the translucent white crystals. These will indicate Blue when humidity is below 20% and slowly turn to Pink when they become saturated and will no longer absorb moisture. They can then be dried & recharged in accordance with the instructions included.

Shipping/Tracking confirmation and invoice will be emailed when order is complete. We pack and post at actual cost. All items are shipped by NZ Post and will be sent to the address supplied. If you require tracking, Courier or Rural delivery please select the appropriate options. Incorrect or incomplete address (or no RD label if required) may result in delivery delays which are out of our control. If paying by bank deposit, please allow for slower processing times over weekends and public holidays (deposits made after 7pm Friday may not appear until Tuesday morning).
