Description
Armed Forces Special Voucher. These vouchers were used by British military personnel in specific overseas locations, primarily after World War II, as a form of currency.
The text on the voucher includes "BRITISH ARMED FORCES SPECIAL VOUCHER," "SIX PENCE," and "ISSUED BY COMMAND OF THE ARMY COUNCIL." It also includes a metal security strip.
This has been in circulated condition, but it has no rips/tears and is in reasonable condition for age and circumstances. A nice example and good conversation piece for a collection.
Please refer to the photos for a better idea of condition and feel free to ask questions. I will try to answer these the best I can.
Please keep an eye out for other listings - I am having a HUGE collectables clear out after our recent move.
