Purpose: Used in official army canteens and organizations, particularly in Germany and Austria, to prevent black market activity after WWII. Denomination: 10 New Pence, equivalent to the decimal coin introduced in 1968. Issuer: Issued by command of the Defence Council. 1972 Printing: Printed by Bradbury Wilkinson and Company, and Thomas de la Rue and Company.
This note is in uncirculated condition and is crisp and clean. A nice 'highlight note'/point of difference, to add to a collection. Please refer to photos.
