Description
This 1890s Mrs Winslow’s Soothing Syrup apothecary cylinder bottle is in top condition.
It is 13cm high, with a 3cm wide base and a rounded square-topped lip, and has a very nice light aqua hue.
The number 13 is embossed on the base.
The heavy embossed lettering, over six lines, which vertically covers the cylinder, reads:
Mrs Winslow’s Soothing Syrup The Anglo American Drug Co Successors to Curtis & Perkins Proprietors
Of two-piece mould construction, it has no chips, cracks or other obvious defects.
Please note that the photographs constitute part of the description so check them carefully.
It has been given a token clean only as we have just recently extracted several boxes of old bottles from the garden shed.
The inside may still have some light dirt, etc.
We prefer pickup from North Shore, Auckland, close to Birkenhead and near Verrans Corner, but can post or courier if this works better.
