Many of these rather spectacular Pratt lids were framed up as works of art after their contents (cosmetics and consumables, typically) were plundered :-) Not hard to see why, they're rather beautiful items for something that literally just packaging back in the day.

I'm not sure of the "proper" name for this particular pattern, but it looks to be something akin to "pastoral scene" or similar, perhaps.

It's in excellent condition, the lid has some light wear, but near as I can tell no chips anywhere, and no cracks. Lid measures 110mm, the wooden surround is 140mm in diameter.
