13cm diameter glass face 2cm raised brass and glass face 18cm diameter walnut casing 3cm depth of walnut casing 5cm total depth 735 grams
1950s German Mid Century modern precision compensated aneroid barometer. Solid polished walnut casing. Porcelain gauge face is ‘like new’ condition, very minor wear on walnut edges. Brass face and dial are in excellent condition. Bevelled-edged thick glass face! This is a compensated barometer, made in West-Germany which measures air pressure in different environments, and is not influenced by temperature. Great for hanging on wall with original brass hanger. Gorgeous vintage German made precision weather station, about as good as they get!
