Description
Rare Black Forest organ clock circa 1863. This organ clock plays approximately 6 tunes and has 15 pipes. Including one tune from the German opera Der Freischutz by Carl Maria von Weber. Brought to NZ from Holland around 1970. The clock comes with three weights. Two for the clock, and one heavier weight for the organ. One of the clock weights is missing the hook attachment for securing to the clock (easily replacable). The organ plays, however the clock movement needs restoration. On the whole in good condition, without any damage to the clockface artwork. The organ barrel and pipes are cased in the back of the clock. Any questions welcome.
