Description
Circa. 19th Century Oak Wall Clock. N. Price Wolverhampton. Complete & working.
Seldom are we presented with such a beautiful timepiece.
White/off white enameled dial, Roman numerals, and brass/bronze effect hands. English oak case with original key and pendulum.
Our very generous donor purchased this piece in the UK well over 30+ years ago - it was already old at the time of purchase.
Prior to donation this had been in daily use and worked as a clock of this quality should.
That said, as with anything of this age a sympathetic clean and service of the movement is recommended.
Given the age, scale, weight and internal movements pick up or collection only.
If you own an English Pub, are a Wolves fan, or own a period property or B&B, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
Circa. 40cm in diameter & 17cm deep.
