Stunning Fully Restored Anitque German Oak Wall Clock

This Stunning high quality Oak wall clock was made in Germany around 100 years ago.

It has always been extremely well cared for, but has just been restored to as new condition.

The borer free Oak case has been polished to a wonderful deep shine, showcasing the red and golden highlights in the grain of the timber.

The silvered dial is in excellent condition and features elegant black Arabic numbers and matching black hands.

Below the face are three beautiful beveled edged glass panels behind which the brass pendulum is viewed swinging strongly back and forth.

Finally at the very top of the clock is a beautiful hand carved decoration which adds a wonderful three dimensional feel to the clock.

The overall effect is an understated beauty that catches the eye. The whole clock has been painstaking dismantled and lovingly restored.

The movement is a quality key wind design and runs for around a week on a wind. It has just been fully overhauled (completely stripped, main spring removed,all new bearing fitted, cleaned, polished and oiled using professional Mobius Swiss Clock oil) at a cost of over $300.

Thus this clock is in "as new" condition, runs perfectly, keeps excellent time and is sold with a 12 month warranty so you can buy with complete confidence.

Best of all the clock also has a three quarter strike movement. It chimes Westminster chimes every quarter hour and the on the hour strikes the number that corresponds to the hour, The sound is beautiful!

Each component of this clock is quality, right down to the double latches to secure the opening door and twin glass viewing panels on either side of the clock. It measures 80 cm long, 32 cm wide and 18.5 cm deep.
