Magnificent Howard Miller Grandfather Clock with 8-Day cable driven movement. The movement has Westminister Chimes (Big Ben) and possesses several options such as authentic 'Night shut-off' and 'Strike Only' so that Chimes shut off and only strikes the hours. 'Night Shut off' automatically turns the Chimes off at 10pm and resumes striking again at 7.15am. The last options is to have Chimes and Strike off. It has magnificent face and chapter ring with ornate Serpentine Hands and seconds dial. It also has working Luna Moon dial which turn every 29.5 days with actual moon phases (full moon, partial moon etc!) The clock most importantly keeps accurate time and also has internal light which shows off internal movement, moving pendulum and weights as pictured with its mirror backing is very elegant at night. Some people even connect to a simple plug-in time switch so that clock light switches on automatically the same time each night switching off at 10 or 11pm.

The cabinet is American Cherrywood with ornate Swan pediment and turned centre finial. It also has attractive etched glass and large pendulum Bob. Comes with original manual.and turning crank.
