Antique ebony TABLE CLOCK

A cute little table or desk clock from the 1920s - 1930s.

The clock face is marked "Foreign", which indicates this clock would have been most likely manufactured in England, with a German movement. The marking (under the 6 on the clock face) stems from an option that was specified in the UK's Merchandise Marks Act, 1926.

There is no manufacturer's mark anywhere on the case, nor the movement, but it's very similar to clocks made by Schlenker or Kienzle. It is a quality movement and keeps excellent time.

Measures 98 mm high, 75 mm wide (90 at the base), and 40 mm deep.
