I restore antique barometers. My personal collection has got a bit too big so I'm selling three items (see my other listings).

This item is almost certainly French, identified by the small plate on the back (see photos) which says "Depose" i.e. trade marked. The clock is a typical French carriage clock from around 1900 and has been put into good working order by a clock specialist. It runs for 7 days plus and keeps good time. I have restored the barometer to good, accurate condition and will reset it to the altitude of the buyer. Note that the tiny thermometer tube is broken (see photos)

Both clock and barometer have enameled faces, perfect except for a faint hairline crack on the clock (see photos). Overall dimensions are 185 mm along the base and 135 to the top of the case, excluding the brass handle.

It's a beautiful little piece and looks perfect on a desk.
