This stunning Mahogany cased antique English Station Clock has just been fully restored.
Being and NZG stamped clock it has the highest quality 11 jeweled platform ecapement movment to ensure reliable accurate timekeeping. The movement is a work of art, with thick brass plates and robust construction. It has just been fully restored - removed, dismantled, cleaned, oiled, (using Swiss clock oil), adjusted and re-installed. Thus the clock keeps excellent time having a lovely quiet tick running for 8 days on a wind. It is sold with a 12 month mechanical warranty.
The beautiful Mahogany case has just been fully restored. It has wonderful grain and colours throughout. The deep brass Bessel that surrounds the dial has been polished to a golden shine while the original metal painted clock dial is in wonderful condition and features Arabic numbers. The original matching black hands are also in excellent condition.
The clock measures 33 cm across and 14 cm deep, which gives it a lovely chunky look. It is complete with its original key.
This rare and stunning clock looks beautiful on the wall and will add character and history to your home.
