This lovely English Art Deco Chiming mantle clock was made by Perivale. Founded in 1932, with a factory at 2 Wadsworth Rd, Perivale, used a Britannia trademark. Perivale were a step up from the other English producers of mantle clock, manufacturing 14 day rather than 7 day movements.

This clock is in fantastic condition, having a beautiful colour in the grain of the timber, an beehive top and the case decorated with stripped Walnut panels. It has just been polished with English Wax so has a lovely deep shine.

The clock movement has just been fully serviced removed, cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner, all worn parts replaced including new bearings as per photos, reassembled, oiled, adjusted and reinstalled. Therefore it runs as it should with a lovely strong tick And keeps good time.

The clock strikes a gong on the half hour and hour. The chrome hands and bezel are in excellent condition. The white dial is also mint and contracts with the timbre beautifully to give that real art deco feel.

Complete with its pendulum and key, this is a very pretty little mantle clock set to give years of trouble free time keeping. Listed with a $1 reserve so don't miss out!
