D.W. BRUNTON'S POCKET TRANSIT WITH LEATHER CASE

The original owner of this beauty, Urbain Kinet, died in 1989. It passed to his widow who then passed it to me in about 2005. Its serial number is 108496. Urbain, a Belgian, used it in the Belgian Congo before he immigrated to the U.S. and they married

It has sat for many years; untouched. EBay, in the U.S. has a number of these for sale for $200 to $400 NZD. Apparently, they are collector items.

When I immigrated to NZ from the U.S. in 2009, it came along with me. I'm 78 now and it is time for it to move on to someone who knows what it is and who will value it.
