Dates from the 1950/60's Made to record both Temperature and Humidity of the atmosphere against time. Recording is setup for 7 days operation only. The 24 hours operation available by changing gears. Clockwork operation in the recording cylinder – all works. Temperature is measured by means of a bi-metallic strip Humidity is measured by shortening or lengthening of specially treated hair. This unit has not been adjusted for a long number of years – might need some TLC. Recording pens – the currently installed pens – original – temperature is not in very good condition. The Humidity pens would work with the inks supplied. There are 2 bottles if ink that are still liquid – 1 x green, 1 x blue Additional new pens – there are 2 new type pens still in sealed packs – 1 x red, 1 x blue (should still be usable according to various comments on line) Charts – 2 packs of about 40 charts – 7 day and 24 hour. Changing the time period requires changing the gear wheels in the base of the unit. Manual – there is a manual of the internet that generally outlines the operation, but relates to a battery operation timer – 2000 print. Instrument Condition – good condition, clean, no adverse marks. Dimensions – 36 cm long x 15 cm wide x 18 cm high Weight – 3 Kg Packaging would be with Soft infill and would be less than 5 Kg all up
