They are little spots that won't lightly rub off. I don't want to do anything else to damage the coin. Quite small spots but of course they always look a little exaggerated in a macro photo . cheers Julie julie2406 (2245) • Wednesday, 20 August 2025

Hi Julie just confirming that none of the other coins have been lightly rubbed? Even a tissue can leave hairlines that show under magnification & lead to a coin being deemed as cleaned by PCGS (i.e., a problem coin). I don't use tissues or cloth. I did just test if it was dirt or not, lightly with thumb. But most of these coins I have on T'me at the moment have seen quite alot of use, except the 1883 Hawai, which is better. Cheers Julie julie2406 (2245) • Friday, 22 August 2025
