Product Details - 1984 Prospector (Eagle reverse) This Silver round was the third year of issue from the famous Prospector series and first to feature the eagle design. Engelhard's 1 oz .999 fine Silver rounds were the first bullion rounds that were marketed to the public, adding a sense of historical value and collectability.

Round Highlights: Contains 1 oz of .999 fine Silver. These 20 rounds come in a plastic tube. Obverse: Image of a prospector panning for Gold, the words "U.S.A.", the year of issue and "The American Prospector." Reverse: Displays an American Eagle along with the weight and purity of the round.

These rounds are no longer being minted and are increasingly difficult to locate in excellent condition. (these coins may contain contact marks).

The photos above show the rounds you will be getting. They are in great condition given their age. These secondary market rounds will have some wear consistent with their age and circulation.
