Description

These two panels are absolutely amazing. Google search has come up with 19th Century Bamboo carved hanging panels. The workmanship on these is amazing. There are 4 different men standing on a Turtle, lizard, crab and a lobster along with calligraphy on each one that appears to resonate with good fortune, longevity, good health and wealth. One of the calligraphy in red comes up with Year of Tiger and Zhonghua. They are in fabulous condition with only a split on the one with man standing on crab, only mentioning for accuracy as doesn't go through to the underside. 760mm long and 115mm wide. Be happy for anyone to share more light on the purpose of them.

CONTACT AND PAYMENT MUST BE MADE WITHIN 48HRS OF AUCTION CLOSING.
