Description
Wood netsuke or ink well from 1800??
These Netsuke are very collectible and take many shapes, a lot of netsuke are of carved animals. Prices in many thousands are realized in overseas auctions, a quick Google will show the circuitry and values of the netsuke.
We are really a little unsure of the value, so we have a starting point that we think is fair.
This one is either a storage vessel or an ink well.
We have done a bit of research and can't quite work out which one it is.
Wood Netsuke, Japan, 19th century, daruma doll with retractable eyes, face and eyes made of _ _ _ _
