One of the cowrie shells has a small chip around the hole where the rope threads through, making the opening slightly larger than originally intended. However, this is purely aesthetic and doesn't affect the overall look or integrity of the piece

Also, a small portion of one inlaid shell was damaged along the edge at some point; I've done a clean, improvised temporary fix that blends in well, though a future owner may wish to replace it for a finish that matches the rest.

Kava bowls of this size, craftsmanship, and detail are rare and hard to find, especially outside of their native regions.
