Description
14 pages (28 sides) of relevant historical news flashes dating back to 1910, all sorts of events that were meaningful to New Zealand. It appears to be a 1970 news memorabilia edition. The first page of most recent events refers to 1970 in the heading and the oldest news page is dated 1910 - 1918.
Not sure whether it's a complete paper, but it's remarkably preserved for it's age.
Intriguing news articles include:
World War I World War II Jean Batten's solo triumph Opening of Auckland Harbour Bridge Queen Elizabeth wedding Her Majesty NZ Visit Tangiwai Rail Disaster Opo - world famous dolphin Hermitage Hotel Fire Ballantyne's Building fire
.....plus much much more!
