Stamped 'SILVER', safety chain, ultra marine blue guilloche front and solid sterling silver frame, back and engraved front, 4cm, excellent condition, superbly made.
'C' clasp – dates from c1850s. Guilloche is a painstaking art of crushed glass in a liquid form (called enamel) delicately added by hand over machined engraved silver.
