This stunning vintage paua brooch is mounted in sterling silver. The paua heart is suspended from a silver bow. Both parts are marked stg for sterling. It is quite sizeable and would look amazing on the lapel of your winter coat. It has a lovely retro mid century feel. Looking at the clasp and the style I would estimate this beautiful piece of vintage kiwiana was made between 1940 and 1960.
