A fine trio of early 20th-century Italian micro mosaic brooches, each demonstrating the meticulous craftsmanship associated with Grand Tour souvenir pieces. Comprising: 1- Guitar-shaped brooch with vibrant millefiori tesserae and decorative scrollwork (missing pin hook). 2- Diamond-shaped brooch with crisp geometric borders and floral mosaic centre. 3- Circular brooch with floral medallion motif and scalloped edge design.
All are crafted in gilt brass and marked ‘Italy’ to reverse, indicating origin. These intricate examples of micromosaic jewellery were popular keepsakes for European travellers and are now highly collectable.
