This charming photo locket is in good pre-owned antique condition, still containing its original photos on both sides. These are very easy to replace by simply unscrewing the little "knob" fitting at the top of the locket and gently parting the gold plated frame to release the glass and the existing photos. New photos can then be cut to size using the old ones as a template, sandwiched between the glass circles and replaced in the frame. The frame has been made very pliable for this process to be achieved efficiently. The locket has a diameter of just over 1 inch (27mm). The chain length is 18 inches (458 mm). Please note that the chain, although vintage, and a good gauge, isn't as old as the locket. These Exquisite POOLS OF LIGHT Antique lockets and chains do respond very well to modern, proprietary, cleaning products and will subsequently develop a golden shine.
