A gorgeous Antique Jewelery Box.

Black Leather/Leatherette over a hard casing.

Gold Crown hallmark on the top. .

Silk lining in the lid and a velvet covered removable display piece.

There is discolouration from age to the fabrics but no holes or tears and all intact.

The box hinge is still strong and opens and closes with ease.

8.5cm x 6.5cm

In great original condition . I haven't polished it or cleaned it at all as will leave that for an experienced buyer.

I've collected old ring/jewelery boxes for years.... purely for the beauty of little treasures...but know nothing about their original contents.

This came from an auction from the Hyde Park Museum in Te Horo that closed down a few years ago.
