A rare find this enamel and 18ct gold pendant is well loved and started life as a hunters watch case. The movement is long gone and it has spent the rest of it's life as a well loved pendant. This is circa 1880's when celestial themes such as stars and moons were the height of fashion. There are three natural pearls left of the 4 original and these have been worn down to the core layers. Enamel has been lost and the back is very damaged.

However this is still a charming piece with a steam punk look and over 4 grams of 18ct gold.It is well sized and entirely hand made. A piece with many stories to tell. Listing at just over the price of 18ct gold in grams. Today gold is $200 a gram and 18ct is 75% pure.

This piece was sourced from an estate auction.The pendant/charm is 35mm long and 25mm wide. I have paired this with a 45cm gold dipped sterling silver chain and it will come in a gold lined leather box with white velvet.
