Fabulous vintage Taxco, Mexico sterling silver bracelet.
Bracelet weighs a substantial 80 grams
Stamped on the inside AJ makers name, as of yet to discover who this maker is TAXCO MEXICO STERLING With the Eagle stamp to the side with the letter 3 (faint) 3 denotes that this piece of jewellery was made in Taxco. The the number 1
Comprised of six panels, which have been described as an Aztec motif, with three silver balls stacked between each panel. Each panel moves individually, so is not rigid. The clasp slots in and is opened by gently pulling the top clasp part to the left to the side where it sits. There is a safety chain attached to the bracelet. There have been various Mexican silversmiths who have designed similar motifs and subject matter with these types of sterling silver bracelets.

In very good condition, the clasp works well, the safety chain intact, all of the stamps clear, apart from the Eagle stamp which needs closer inspection. A few very minor small dents, some very minor surface scratching, barely visible. All and all an outstanding piece of workmanship.
