A beautiful old cut mine diamonds and sapphire Victorian dress ring carved in 18-carat yellow gold. This is a New Zealand piece hallmarked 18ct JC(the markers mark). Both diamonds are mine cut and 2.5mm with some inclusions only visible under the loupe. The sapphires are royal blue and have some light abrasions visible only under a loupe. All stones are secure as this has been retipped and the rex settings and under railings are all sound. The entire setting and band is 18ct yellow gold. White gold and platinum was not used until the 20th century.

Size: W (UK), size 11 (US). This is easily resized down for as little as $60 and with gold at $178 a gram making rings larger has become expensive. Weight: 2.5 grams. Will come in a Victorian styled ring box. This is sound enough to be worn daily.
