RING: vintage emerald and diamond cluster, 5.97 grams RING MOUNT... Handmade in 950 platinum , tested by XRF. 5.5 mm tall, 14.5 x 13.1 mm cushion shaped scallop edged cluster head with pierced arch gallery, onto a 2.6 mm square patterned shank with upswept grain set flared shoulders and 18.2 mm inside diameter. In good condition NATURAL EMERALD ... One is rubover set, oval mixed cut, approx. 8.7 x 7.2 x 3.9 mm in size, estimated 1.55 carats in weight, light-medium green colour, with clarity assessed as moderately included, with very good colour quality, and 25 % brilliance, 65 % window, 10 % extinction. ** Unless otherwise stated all coloured gemstones are assumed to have undergone colour and/or clarity enhancement treatments that do not require disclosure. Only treatments for which disclosure is required, and that have been identified, are reported here. Some disclosable treatments require advanced scientific testing to identify and may therefore not be reported. Some treatments are not permanent and may require extra care. Emeralds in particular are almost always treated with oil or other clarity enhancements. NATURAL DIAMONDS... Eighteen are grain set, round brilliant cut, approx. 1.6 - 2.0 mm in size, estimated to total 0.50 carats in weight, with quality grades assessed in the settings as Good to Fair make, D-G colour, VS-SI clarity.
