Two engraved solid 18 karat custom-made signet rings made by the late Taupo jeweler William Drew. My wife and I had them planned as a memorial and are inscribed " In memory of mum and dad". But both my son refused to accept them for reasons of their own and consequently worn them myself on occasion. They are several years old, and my wife and I decided to sell them considering the current price of gold and have a little holiday. They are a combined weight of 30.54 grams of 18 Karat gold that translated into 22.9050 grams of pure gold. This will give them an estimated current NZ market value in terms of pure gold of 22.9050X122.02591=$2,795.00.
