Two Lincolnshire Regiment slider cap badges.
Raised in 1685, serving in subsequent Army campaigns over its long history, such as the American War of Independence, The Indian Mutiny, The French Revolution, The Napoleonic Wars. During WW1 on the Western Front, remaining for the duration of the conflict and fighting in most of the battles, also in Egypt and Gallipoli. The regiment was awarded 58 Battle Honours alone in WW1. WW2, serving in Dunkirk, Normandy landings, North-West Europe, Burma, Tunisia, Italy and Monte Cassino.

Both in good condition, sliders intact, fronts good, a little oxidisation near the joins of the lugs, minor.
