Up for grabs is a U.S.A made Schrade “Uncle Henry” 153 Golden Spike.

The 153 Golden Spike came out in 1973, and was continued up until the demise of this amazing company in 2004, this is one of the earlier ones.

This extremely popular fixed blade by Schrade is a Carbon Steel example. The Knife has had careful use, it still has the Etch that reads “SCHRADE SUPER SHARP”.

The Tang Stamping reads: SCHRADE USA 153UH. (the UH stands for Uncle Henry -who was in fact Albert Baer’s brother- Henry).

The blade is 100% full, and the knife has had absolute minimal sharpening, there are a few fine scratches on the pile side of the blade, there are some slight marks here and there, but all in all a very nice Vintage Knife here.

The Factory Etch on the Blade is still strong SCHRADE SUPER SHARP.

The Original Sheath is in very nice condition, showing only slight signs of use – everything is there and works well.

The original Stone is still in the Sheath’s pouch. Overall length is 9 & ½ inches long, that Blade is just a peek under 5 inches long. Not many of these Carbon Steel examples in this fine condition.
