Medal Pair to 6/4097 Private Harry Miles, C Company, Canterbury Infantry Battalion, N.Z.E.F.
Harry was Wounded in Action twice. Firstly, on the 1st Day of the Somme for New Zealanders - 15/9/1916. Secondly on the 1st Day of the Battle for Passchendaele - 12/10/1917.
Both Medals correctly impressed.
Volume 3 of Beattie and Pomeroy includes portrait.
