Very SIMILAR to the Beer Tankard that STATES "Made from Brass gathered from the North African Battlefields of WW2" that are usually seen with the 2nd NZEF "Onward" badge, front & center, and in spectacular "Starburst" design

This "British Version"(??) similarly bears details of the North African Campaigns of WW2, right-up to the end of hostilities for The Second World War

But (Rather ODDLY?) DOES NOT claim to have been "Made from Brass salvaged from the battlefields of North Africa"

Even once has the Nickel or Silver plate over the Brass, now 99% polished away, but the stamped "Trench Art" (not) details remain entirely legible

This BRITISH or British Commonwealth (NON-NZ) version with TOTALLY different details must be VERY MUCH RARER than the more commonly encountered Kiwi "ONWARD" Beer Tankard

The ONLY example that I have ever owned or offered for sale
