Description
A great example of a genuine mid-US Civil War era pistol. After the war the revolvers are often in better condition, but worth quite a bit less. Matching 5 visible s/n 100157 for 1863. Not quite as good as the one I sold for $8400. I’ve imported these, but the last shipping bill was £4600 so it’s too expensive now. Also the prices of muzzle-loaders is up worldwide, as new gun laws make older guns more valuable. GREAT action indexes well. Snick, Snick is crisp. Very strong old spring (some have disappointing weak modern springs that you can’t see). Just a little play in the cylinder, as expected, it’s been through a war. Various inspection marks (photos). Very Faint cylinder scene. Good Colt address line. Nipples are good (photos). Very faint military cartouche on (right) original grip. Good overall condition for its 160yr age, as you can see. A great investment gun that’ll return More than money in the bank or my darn TESLA shares! I’m buying Blunderbusses (12 so far) as these iconic guns will appreciate, I’m sure (wife isn’t so sure…). Shipping at cost, or come visit and see my volley guns. I’m in HB. No needed for a Firearm License as this is a genuine muzzle-loader.
Other… SAVE me, Snider, Flintlock blunderbuss, Sword. Leopard skin.
