STUNNING ESTATE MUSEUM RARE KAURI AMBER MINIATURE PYRAMID PILLAR ITEM FROM THEIR CABINET DISPLAY MUSEUM No. R.J.25219 AND PART OF OUR SIGNIFICANT KAURI TREE KAURI AMBER/GUM OF OUR PREHISTORIC PAST BEING 1000 TO 1500 YEARS OLD. This is another rare and unique piece of kauri amber/gum from the estate museum with their Museum number R.J.25219 and white stone display stand ideal as a rare item for collectors of Kauri amber/gum. Included with each piece is the quite moving written verse from the museum collection. This is the second of the rare Kauri amber Victorian pieces and is a lovely miniature Pyramid pillar that was cut and hand polished by a Dalmation Kauri digger named Pavletich and was bought at an Auckland auction in the 1950's for the estate Museums miniature Kauri amber/gum items. A truly wonderful piece of Victorian carved Kauri amber/gum which measures almost 1.1/2 inches tall x 1/2 inch wide at the base and tapers up to 3/8ths inch to the top. This Pyramid pillar is a unique item for collectors of rare items of Kauri amber this piece is another of the smallest from the Museum cabinets and has a high hand polish with rich golden redish orange colour also with swirls of darker colours within, it is also a harder piece of Kauri amber / gum probably between 1000 to 1500 year old. Our Kauri amber from the Victorian and Edwardian era was often made into interesting carved ornaments, art work and jewellery items.
