You are bidding on a large slab of natural flint stone, this is a museum exhibition quality example. This comes from Lithuania and weighs 3.9kg. It measures around 16cm to 17cm in height and width, but the shape is irregular and complex nodules. This formed as it filled cavities in the sediment, such as holes bored by crustaceans or molluscs and that this became silicified. Very unusual to find at this size. It has a natural beauty that from some angles it reminds me of a landscape of a mountain, could just sit there and study it for hours - like a viewing stone: "suiseki" (in Japan) or "scholar rock".
