Megalodon fossil shark tooth - 114mm / 4.4" Otodus megalodon (scientific name) 23 - 3.6 million years old Found off the coast of North Carolina, USA. This upper jaw lateral (side) tooth is absolutely stunning! The crown is a smooth sand/yellow-ish colour, the enamel quality is up there with some of the nicest teeth I've seen, the serrations are very sharp and the root is solid and almost complete with just a little pitting. There are no repairs or restoration. I can provide pics under 365nm UV light to show there is no restoration.
