Description
Megalodon fossil shark tooth - 95.5mm / 3.7" Otodus megalodon (scientific name) 23 - 3.6 million years old Found off the coast of North Carolina, USA.
This upper jaw lateral (side) tooth is a stunner! It's either the last lateral tooth or the first posterior tooth - either way, it was placed near the back of the sharks mouth. The crown is beautifully preserved with sharp serrations, shiny enamel, it's chatoyant, the bourlette is mostly preserved and the root is solid and complete! It displays very well and would make a great start or addition to any collection.
It's important you get your fossil as soon as possible, so in most cases, I will have your fossil on a courier the workday after payment clears! The tracking number is passed on to you as soon as I book the courier.
There are no repairs or restoration. I can provide pics under 365nm UV light to show there is no restoration.
Pick up is welcome from the Hibiscus Coast I can put it on a tracked courier to any urban address for $5.50 (RD extra)
