Description
Megalodon fossil shark tooth - 94.9mm / 3.7" Otodus megalodon (scientific name) 23 - 3.6 million years old Found off the coast of North Carolina, USA.
This lower jaw lateral (side) tooth is a stunner! The crown and bourlette are beautifully preserved, the serrations are sharp, the root is almost complete (just a little piece missing from the root lobe) and it has a little piece of coral still attached to the root. It's really hard to overstate how nice this tooth is! It's a symmetrical shape and a really nice dagger shape. It displays really well and would be the centre of attention in any collection. Listed elsewhere cheaper - I have to cover the TM fees.
It's important you get your fossil as soon as possible, so in most cases, I will have your fossil on a courier the workday after payment clears! The tracking number is passed on to you as soon as I book the courier.
There are no repairs or restoration. I can provide pics under 365nm UV light to show there is no restoration.
Pick up is welcome from the Hibiscus Coast I can put it on a tracked courier to any urban address for $5.50 (RD extra)
