Description
Megalodon fossil shark tooth - 93.1mm / 3.6" Otodus megalodon (scientific name) 23 - 3.6 million years old Lee Creek, North Carolina, USA.
Hands down, this is one of the nicest teeth I've had available! It's a lower jaw tooth and it is very sharp, the enamel is beautifully preserved, as is the root. The bourlette is almost pristine with just a little piece missing and the crown has a few minor dings (very likely feeding damage). This will be the centrepiece to any collection!
Listed cheaper elsewhere.... I have to cover the TM fees.
There are no repairs or restoration. I can provide pics under 365nm UV light to show there is no restoration. Pick up is welcome from the Hibiscus Coast I can put it on a tracked courier to any urban address for $7 (RD extra)
